The IDS standard is now ready for use - Learn more in Talks, Keynotes, Views and Breakout Sessions
26. November 2020
Cross-company data spaces enable companies to share their most valuable assets and use them in a value-added way: data.
The International Data Spaces Association (IDSA), initiated by the BMBF, Fraunhofer and industry, has defined a reference architecture and a formal standard for creating and operating virtual data ecosystems: the IDS standard for data sovereignty. The IDS architecture is now ready for transfer into effective technology platforms and to be established as a basis for GAIA-X.
Now, the IDS standard is ready for use.
On Data Ecosystems Day on November 26, 2020, the developers of the Fraunhofer Cluster of Excellence Cognitive Internet Technologies CCIT, the Fraunhofer ICT Group and the International Data Spaces Association will present and explain:
- … the components that enable the participation in trustworthy and sovereign data ecosystems,
- … how the certification of participants in data ecosystems, which is now possible, works,
- … IDS-based data ecosystems that are successfully in operation and
- … the role of IDS in the European cloud infrastructure GAIA-X.
All lectures will either be held in English or, if not, simultaneously interpreted into English. The Data Ecosystems Day takes place virtually. The participation is free of charge.
